FEATURING PETER FIEKOWSKY - The World Meteorological Organization on Tuesday announced that “there is a 50:50 chance of average global temperature reaching 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels in the next five years, and the likelihood is increasing with time."
Climate scientists are sounding the alarm that the ambitious-sounding United Nations goals of reaching “net-zero” emissions by 2050 are simply inadequate to stave off catastrophic climate change. To that end, my guest Peter Fiekowsky has written a new book that focuses on four accessible and affordable means to restoring the climate that can stabilize the carbon levels enough to sustain life on the planet.
