This was an idea Dave had for about 20 years, and it was heavily focused on determining injuries, what the best course of action is, what is paramount to be done in the tree and what injuries can be dealt with once on the ground.

Dan shares his experiences from a competitior, and Dave shares his thought about the organization and what he saw througout the weekend.

We also talk about the systems we had to use during the competition, always being on two indepentent climbing systems (or using a backup), and when and how this might become the standard in arboriculture.

Rachel Brudzinski joins us for this podcast. Rachel tells the horrific, scary, unbelievable, sad but also motivational story of the terrible incident she suffered while working in a tree. Words can not describe what Rachel has been through, all I can say is, listening to her story is a must. Every single person will take a lot away from listening to her story and how she tackled and dealt with her recovery, and how she will always be battling the physical and mental stresses of what she went through.
