Hi, I'm Beverley Joy of Simply Story Poetry. This poem is Part 9 of a series about my journey with disease.
After overcoming spinal surgery and radiation for cancer, I am grateful to be able to resume writing and sharing poetry. Amidst struggles with nausea, pain, and fatigue, I emphasize patience and perseverance to finally return to what was once my normal life following what was such a crazy unsettled, unusual time in my life. While my computer silently awaited my return, I focused on assessing my purpose with patience and resilience. Beverley Joy
