We're finally back to another fully animated movie for the first time in a while with Ducktales the movie. Although considered to be a box office flop this movie is still fun and entertaining. They manage to keep alot of the same energy from the tv series and expand upon it a bit more. Some questionable things happen which lead to some fun rants and debates.
This week Charlie and I escape to the imaginary world of Terabithia in Bridge to Terabithia. While we don't share the same opinions on how much we like this film we can both agree that this movie will wreck you emotionally. Probably some of our biggest score jumps in a while lead to some interesting debates and discussions on this movie
This week Charlie and I return to space with Flight of the Navigator. For the first time in a while we have some major differing opinions on a movie. While we don't necessarily agree on everything about this movie we both think it is absolutely hilarious.
This week we go on another magical whimsical journey similar to Mary Poppins in Bedknobs and Broomsticks. While the vibes may be the same this movie doesn't match the same energy as Mary Poppins but its still fun. This may be one of our most chaotic episodes ever. With plenty of tangents, hot takes, and interesting opinons you never know what to expect in this one.
This week Charlie and I return to the 100 Acre woods for another adventure with Winnie the Pooh in "Cristopher Robin" While we both have differing opinions on how entertaining this movie was we can both agree that it was made incredibly well. This time Christopher Robin might be the villain instead of Owl.
So the Olympics are finally here and we decided stay on brand and watch Cool Runnings. It might have messed up our release schedule a little bit but we feel it was worth it. This is such a fun feel good movie that doesn't get as much love as it should. A fantastic cast of characters, lots of comedy, lots of drama and just an all around good time.
This week we're finally wrapping up the Mighty Ducks trilogy with... shocker, D3 The Mighty Ducks. They still haven't figured out how to come up with new names. We're back in the preppy school showdown genre again. This movie definitely has a more comedic tone to it than the other 2 but still manages to keep the same duck spirit. While we do have differing opinions which leads to more debates and tangents as usual.
This week we're continuing our journey through The Mighty Ducks saga with D2 where the storyline is just as original is the title. While it's not a bad movie per say, there's just alot of things that don't make sense. They're able to keep some of the fun characters and add some new ones but still don't know how to showcase them. Although it doesn't live up to the first movie it's still a fun watch.
This week were jumping into another blast from the past with The Mighty Ducks. This was a staple in most of us "old" folks childhood. And it was great to see that it still holds up. With a great mix of comedy and drama filled with an great group of characters this is a quintessential 90s classic that lives on.
This week we take another trip back to the digital world known as the grid in Tron Legacy. This time we follow Kevin's son Sam Flynn in an audio/visual visual journey that stimulates all of our senses. Tron Legacy is one of the best put together movies we've seen in a while.
