The Chicago Cubs had a memorable weekend in Washington D.C. with Kyle Schwarber’s HR Derby performance, Willson Contreras hitting a bomb in the All Star game and Javy Baez leading off for the NL. Now, it is time for the second half. They finished the first half 2.5 up on second place Milwaukee. Despite some inconsistencies and some nagging injuries to the team, they managed to finish right off the pace they were at in 2016.
