Since her first job as a babysitter, Heather Yates has always loved working with kids, but when she realized that teaching was not her passion, she turned to youth work where she found her true calling.
Now she works at Central Toronto Youth Services and does whatever she can to help get homeless youth off the streets and back on their feet – managing issues of gender and sexual identity, mental health and addiction.
