Close To The Mark: A Pro Wrestling Podcast

Corey and Charles run down the card for the Biggest Party of the Summer and give their predictions and desires for tonight's major WWE pay-per-view extravaganza.

Corey and Charles talk about the advantages and disadvantages of being part of a tag team vs being a singles star in WWE and why green talents could benefit from time in a tag team, and why Vince doesn't put as much stock in building team identities in the reality era.

Corey and Charles are back with another Close To The Mark wrestling podcast talking the week in sports entertainment worldwide including the G1 in New Japan, the ROH-NJPW MSG Supershow, the last week before SummerSlam, the Mae Young, All In, and even some Dragon Ball Z. Don't miss it!

Corey and Charles are back to discuss what's going on in pro wrestling, from Japan to our own backyard. We have a special guest, Adam Helms, promoter of Battleground Championship Wrestling here to tell us about their big event August 18th in Summerville, South Carolina. Head to Facebook and Twitter to follow us and BCW and come out to the event to see Big Game James defend his championship against Mikael Judas and meet your illustrious show hosts live! We also talk G1, our own tournament, and babyfaces and heels vs "One against all" booking. Our best episode yet -- or at least our best ever wrestling rant, so check it out!

A solo episode of Close To The Mark as Charles is on his own to talk about the #CTTMWTT, the wrestling theme tournament taking place live on Facebook and Twitter to decide who has the greatest theme song of all time. Round 1 is over and we reveal all the winners and losers and discuss the future of this year's competition and fan contests as well as ideas for the future! Listen, subscribe and follow, enter, vote, and win!

An audio recording of our Facebook Live simulcast of Extreme Rules. This is a very different recording than our usual podcast, likely to be a unique episode, but we'll be back with the wrestling week in review next Sunday!

Corey and Charles are back with a Sunday show again! We talk about the UFC pay-per-view (and that surprise appearance by Brock Lesnar) and the rest of the week in sports entertainment, if you agree that the whole post-fight angle was a work or think it was a shoot. We also recap Raw and SmackDown, 205 Live, NXT and talk about the Close To The Mark Wrestling Theme Tournament happening now on Twitter and Facebook!

Finally....Corey and Charles....are BACK in the studioooo! We show up a few days later than usual but we brought backup, with our buddy James calling into the show to discuss his Hall of Pain fandom and current WWE. And the Entrance Theme Tournament is live with the first round going on on Facebook and Twitter!

Corey and Charles discuss Raw, Smackdown, 205Live, NXT, and even a little New Japan and CMLL. There's some joy, some laughter, and some pain...actually, the Smackdown recap has a lot of anger being vented. Tune in and find out why this show went off the rails for a while and what we thought of the week in wrestling.

Corey and Charles cover the Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View. It was a 3 out of 5 show, we were 7 out of 9 on predictions, but do you agree with our highs and lows?
