I had heard of Faithfully Restored, a Christian non-profit that Jamie Heard and three friends founded to support women going through difficult times by building community. I had also read about Jamie losing her father and her 2-year-old son, William. But it was not her life story that made me feel compelled to ask her to be on the show. It was her apparent courage to be vulnerable that drew me to her.
