Closing The Loop

Episode Seven...we're talking to you! After seeing Joker in the cinema and hearing how the film was influenced by this Scorcese classic, we took the opportunity to strike Taxi Driver off the list. Listen as we discuss the pacing, cinematography and Betsy's curly haired, nosey colleague.

Episode Six...everybody be cool. Sorry for the small break in proceedings guys, we're back in the game with genre bending mash up. Football is often said to be a game of two halves, but how many films can you say that about? Join us as we discuss all the colourful characters of this insane film, and witness Zach trying to get his head around what he has just watched!

Episode Five...hit me! As a long time Brad Pitt fan Zach could not hold out for much longer. We get into what it is to be a 'movie star', the mystery of Andy Garcia and we fan over Bernie Mac. We also highlight one of life's great unanswered questions, why is Brad Pitt always eating in this film and no one else does?

Episode Four...radical! As a fan of Keanu Reeves, Zach has chosen to seek out this early action classic. So many guilty pleasures were discovered here, the moody Doc from Scrubs, Patrick Swayze, and everyones favourite FBI rebel Gary Busey! Listen as we marvel at Patrick and Keanu's aerial acrobatics and daredevil stunts. Who knew Keanu would go on to play such memorable roles as Neo and John Wick. We love Keanu and we hear he's such a nice guy we're sure he loves us too!

Episode Three...get some! Zach wasn't even a glint in his daddy's eye when this 80's classic debuted. From an early Charlie Sheen to debating the charm of Matthew Broderick's lead, we decide if we'd like to hang with these cool cats, or if they're a bunch of spoilt, privileged brats.

Episode Two....lets go! This week we get wild, wild west, kinda. Zach is about to watch this modern western/thriller from the Coen Brothers. Listen as we judge the morality of Josh Brolin's choices, the pointlessness of Woody Harrelson and we give major kudos to Kelly MacDonald's Carla Jean. Oh, and how can we ever forget Javier Bardem's maniacal hitman! Whats the most you ever lost in a coin toss?
