2022 saw the tech skills gap widen further, with rapid digitalisation and The Great Resignation accelerating the need for tech talent further.

Recent research into the tech skills gap, conducted by Robert Walters, found that 70% of employers were anticipating a shortage. The research also showed that more than half of employers found that candidates didn’t have the necessary technical skills; and over 20% of tech employers highlighted that they needed to encourage more women into the sector
