In this series of the Clothed in Strength Podcast, we explore the power of self-awareness through the lens of the Enneagram - finding the strength in the women we were meant to be. 

Today, I’m joined by my friend Lexus Marshall, a passionate voice and leader in her community, to dive deep into how understanding how the enneagram 9 operates in this world. Lexus is a leader with the Christian Student Fellowship at the University of Kentucky and is passionate about encouraging young men and women to be the best version of themselves. 

We discuss how the Enneagram 9 functions in the world as a PEACEMAKER & operated to care for others and make the world a better place to live. We chat about self care for enneagram 9's, the power of confrontation and conflict, and how the peacemaker's show us a unique version of Jesus. Welcome to the Enneagram Series!

I am so excited to dive into the wonderful topic of personality tests!! It is an amazing way for women to understand the Strengths God has uniquely given us and how we can use those to serve Him, care for ourselves, and love our neighbors. 

To introduce the topic, I have the amazing Susan Brown who is the author of Mildly Mystical. Susan is a spiritual director and a certified Enneagram teacher and practitioner in The Narrative Enneagram tradition. Learn more about her love and passion for the enneagram here.

SOLO EPISODE! 40 is such a powerful number in scripture - we see it in Deuteronomy 6 with the Israelites walking out of a 40 year journey in the wilderness and we see it again in Matthew 4 with Jesus in a 40 day fast in the wilderness beginning His public ministry. 

The women of God today, I believe, is invited through the work of the Holy Spirit to lean deeper into the wilderness of life to receive the sanctifying work of the Lord that renews, restores, and empowers us to be women who simply can't help but share the Gospel. My vision for this podcast and for the generation of women who are connected to it is to be a group of women who have experienced the tangible goodness of the Father SO deeply, just like the women at the well, that we can't help but preach. 

It is in and through the wilderness that we cling to our Father's hand, restore our soul, and journey onwards to a vision of His kingdom coming & His will be done. Will you join me in this?

Join me and my wonderful new friend, Caroline, as we learn about her story and journey of waiting on the Lord to help start their family! Caroline boldly and graciously shared her journey of finding our true gift in life, which is Jesus, through fertility struggles and learning how to depend on Him along the way. 

Caroline is a wife, momma, artist, and friend to so many. She owns Formed With Care pottery and her and her husband, Matt, just adopted their beautiful and sweet baby girl, Ruth. 

Caroline is a gift to listen to and she holds wisdom and strength in her intimate story of leaning on the Lord, listening to His voice, and wisely taking the next steps in their journey of becoming parents.

Making a way! Wow. The Lord has shown us so many beautiful stories this season of some powerful women sharing their stories of the Lord making a way where there seems to be no way. 

Wendee graciously shares her story of debt, divorce, bankruptcy, and more in the depths of this wilderness, the Lord made a way. It was so encouraging hearing the Lord's hand in all things and how He graciously opens doors and guides us when we feel the most lost.

My friend Hope boldly shares about her experience of losing her mom and birthing her baby girl all within 48 hours of each other. She shares how the Lord graciously met her in both the grief and the joy of life. I am so grateful for her story & her heart for the Lord.
