nøvae stand das erste mal vor gut drei Jahren hinter dem DJ-Pult einer kleinen Bar in Lübeck. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt war die Begeisterung für das Auflegen elektronischer Musik entfacht. Nur kurze Zeit später zog es sie nach Leipzig, wo sie mit einigen Freunden das muy bien Kollektiv gründete. Ihr Sound kann sehr variabel sein. Charakteristisch ist ein Mix aus Techno und progressiven Melodien. Je nach Laune kann ein Abend aber auch mal mit einigen House oder Disco Tracks enden.

Sparrow & Barbossa is a DJ and producer duo formed by the Swiss Bryan Coletta and the Uruguayan Emiliano Haberli. Bryan is a pianist and comes from a musical family, his father is the legendary guitarist Francis Coletta who worked with artists like Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, and Frank Sinatra among others. Emiliano was born and raised in a region of Uruguay dominated by African colonials and got widely influenced by what’s called “The Culture Of Candombe”, pure African tribal rhythm coming from the colonialism. Since a very young age, Bryan has been influenced by soul, jazz, and funk, which he uses now in his creations with his strong capacity of improvisation and versatility. Emiliano moved to Europe 15 years ago where he connected with the music, starting to form his style in the electronic music world, making music together with Chus & Ceballos and Joesky (USA).

Together, Bryan and Emiliano form Sparrow & Barbossa, creating a fusion between organic and electronic progressive sounds. Their age difference has a positive influence on both their releases and performance. While Bryan brings the freshness of modern sounds and melodies, Emiliano fine-tunes the rhythmic part and brings his knowledge built up throughout the years. Globe-trotters, they’re true lovers of ethnic and lost cultures, devoted to transmit this legacy through electronic music. Sparrow & Barbossa are most known for their track Yeke that charted number 1 on Beatport afro house together

with Enzo Siffredi’s remix. Recently they’ve also released Shakara on Radiant which is has been charted by numerous top-notch afro-house players.

When the sun sets, the Luno rises.

As just that happened one life-altering night in Mainz, Germany Chris entered a new cosmos called the ‚rave‘ and never walked out on it ever again. Feeling the urge to support the scene, Luno held residences in the Netherlands, while studying the subject of Media Management meticulously. This lead him to be picked up by the illustrious duo Tube & Berger and their labels Kittball and ZEHN Records. This is where he quickly began to level up his own production skills and DJ game. Now he is brewing up house, deep- and tech, clear hints of melodies and the occasional vocal.

At the end of day Luno’s tracks are not only party proven, but also officially licensed for predrinks at your place.

Lately did enthusiasts of emotional and driving techno wonder how such a new youngster was destroying the dance floor. No matter if it was at Sonnemondsternefestival or Katermukke Label Nights 2017 and 2018 in Hamburg as well as Cologne. Every time it has been a so and emotionally outstanding, that checking the line up was an obligatory move to make. And then it always said: LEVT.

You can already tell, that he is one of the most uprising stars of his generation. But no wonder, since the young DJ and producer grew up surrounded by electronic music. Early inspirational influences have been Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. These were followed by the music universe of Katermukke. Since he has been 16 years old he spent every free second at the turntables to refine his sound.

Still on the side there was high school to be finished and juniors A-league football not to be neglected. But it turned out his heart is beating with and for the music so there was no other option than throwing himself into producing his own music. The result is his first EP “The Beast”, which is released on Voltage Records. As the name already announces does it present his sheer powerful and furious side. In addition does a Remix by Felix Kröcher underline the

promising nature of his productions. With this EP does LEVT already start to fight against the thinking, that the youth is only dedicated to rap and techno got a recruitment problem. Since this could be the beginning of something big.

Discovering the dance floor first and therefore experiencing numerous impressive and talented artists over the years, Atalanta not only developed an immense fascination for techno but after all discovered her true passion early 2018. Soon afterwards, due to complete devotion and pure enthusiasm Atalanta already played in well-known clubs in Leipzig and Berlin such as Distillery, Institut für Zukunft and Suicide Club.

Her energetic and driving sound is characterized by raw, dark, melodic and industrial techno often loosened up by break beats and electro, creating a pulsating and lifting vibe on the dance floor.

Since August 2019 Atalanta is one of the Residents at Distillery in Leipzig.

Furthermore she started the project „Inferis“ together with her friends You & Another and Cedric Kuschnick planning events and establishing a podcast series.
