I finally got Rob, also known as WNTR, up to Boston and we did a good two-hour exclusive about his collective, BADPPL. this weeks show starts with a phone call to Ashton Gent and his girlfriend Justice to wish him happy birthday (00:05:00) and advice from a guy in his late twenties. this episode was a lot more relaxed, it was just me, Dee and ‘Ze day-drinking kicking it. between ‘Ze’s horrible attempts at hosting and all the phone calls, we had a good time. my aunt called first (00:02:45), then we cycled through my wedding reception playlist quickly (00:04:30), I ask Dee and ‘Ze random questions, ‘Ze tells us a secret (00:14:15), and he’s never had a close loss (00:16:30). we all have nieces (00:19:00) and think about death (00:20:30). then the real talk begins.  Disney live action remakes (00:23:00) conversation becomes us calling people about their favorite Disney movies (00:25:00). while kinda sorta playing spades, we start with the Chance the Rapper conversation no one wants to have (00:09:35), our disdain for Beyonce and the Disney live action remakes (00:23:00), Swami’s take on shoehorning diversity within comic book movies (00:28:00), which became the great debate on the over-sexualization of women in media and in general (00:30:00) featuring two brief interruptions by my mother (love you mom). we talk about how attraction makes the difference when someone is hitting on you (00:54:00). we then get deep into the police violence situation (01:01:00) and why there’s no easy solution. 

so much talking over each other and all, but that’s how we are as family. i feel bad for Trin and Teka cuz they barely talked, but love these guys.
