United to Christ by faith, believers continue to need only Christ, faithfully proclaimed to them, in order to attain to fullness of maturity, assurance & understanding: which is an encouraging life of love, safe from error, and firm in faith.

Christ alone reconciles sinners to God, and presents them holy, blameless, and above reproach before him, all through persevering gospel faith --- no other remedy will ever be required.

No matter the intensity of our delight, a life of faithful witnessing is still an everyday sacrifice which costs dearly though unworthy to be compared to future glory.
