Through the victory of Christ, God has and will cause His people to have victory over their enemies and to experience the blessings of covenant faithfulness.

Only the new covenant sealed in Jesus' blood, which is prophesied by the old covenant renewed by Joshua at Shechem, can deliver God's people from their sin
