Jim Hamilton is Professor of Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Senior Pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. His theme is based on his book Work and Our Labor in the Lord. 

Theme: The LORD demonstrates that His salvation promise to Abram and his Seed stands through every threat, so cling to it in faith. 

Theme: God's promises to Abram are made ultimately to the Lord Jesus Christ, and through Christ, to His people, the church.

Theme: Jesus was born in Bethlehem not to be enthroned as king, but to die in humble service as the ransom for His sin-enslaved people. 

Theme: Jesus Christ’s rescue of sinners justly separated from God necessarily divides people as it cuts across humanity like a sword. 

Theme: The Father sent His Son Jesus to the world to offer perfect obedience, to be crucified, and to be raised from the dead, destroying Satan’s God-opposing works. 

Theme: God has promised to save His people from their sins by His Son, and the Bible’s covenants reveal that God never fails to keep His promises.
