In the first Cmd+ AI, Samuel and Kabarza introduce the new show and work through the week's AI news. Samuel tries Amazon's Nova models in Jupiter Chat and finds them cheap and capable, they talk about juggling too many AI subscriptions, and Samuel shares his experience with Gemini 2.5 Pro and Google's new Firebase Studio, which leads into an honest chat about vibe coding results for developers and designers alike. They also cover the tangle between Microsoft, xAI and OpenAI, Anthropic's Claude coming to Xcode, and what Windsurf's latest release and multi-billion valuation say about AI code editors.
The second half is Kabarza's hands-on look at Figma's new launches: Figma Draw, Figma Sites and the Buzz marketing tool. He likes the interactions and conditional logic but finds missing headings, div-heavy output and buggy templates, and Samuel argues the launch feels rushed. They finish on whether AI is really taking jobs, concluding that people who use AI well are the ones changing the job market.
