This episode comes from a CNS Staff Retreat we did in May of 2021.  We spent time
hanging out as a team and did some recording for future use.  We got into a discussion
that wasn't on the agenda and began talking on Worship.."The Heart of Intimacy".  We
stopped and started again recording the conversation so it could be shared today.  Listen in to Billy Blackwood, Tara Jackson, Shannon Newman and Jeff Stice as they
share from their hearts on the subject of Worship.

In this episode we discuss Why Music Theory!   Music Theory lays the foundation
that simply lets us work "Smarter not Harder"!   Music Theory allows us to see
the patterns in music that make it more applicable to our practice and performance.
The question Why Music Theory?  The real question is Why Not Music Theory!

allowed us to look back, look around, and look ahead to what God has for us to do.

NQC22 was September 25-October 1 at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN and CNS was there all week with many of our staff and students.  Today's episode deals with dreams, calling, and opportunity.  Areas of elevation and promotion within our ministry that our level of Altitude can be changed by our Attitude regardless of our Ability.  We must keep things in check and realize it has to be more of Him and less of us.  For more information on the Charles Novell School of Music visit us at www.cnsmusic.com.

There is a difference between Talent and Skill.  Talent is a God given ability to excel in a
area.  Skill on the other hand is an ability in which you put your time in efforts into a
craft to develop it.  Talent is few and far between.  Talent will only take you so far and will
intersect with Skill along the way.   For more information on the Charles Novell School of Music, and our upcoming events, visit us at www.cnsmusic.com.
