In reading of he first vision how Joseph Smith was “seized upon“ we come to realize that this was so Heavnly Fathers work could be thwarted. And, the work that Joseph set out to do was so important that he was seized upon. We likewise are seized upon and the work that our Father has for us to do is continually thwarted and halted as we succumb to the “seizing” of the adversary. It comes subtly, and it comes suddenly; nonetheless, Satan does all he can to destroy our Fathers work in our personal progression. Reflecting upon Joseph Smith history 1:14-20.
