So it's been a long summer and the football season is in sight and I'm back for season 2!

In this episode I look back to my boys presentation days, I go into pre-season planning and I take a dive into our pre-season games.

This week I take a look at the new FA rules set to be introduced banning all headers and throw-ins!

I give my thoughts on it and have a look at some of the online reaction. Most of it negative, but me, well I think it's a good idea!

I also have two games to look back on over the last two weeks. With two varying performances for very different reasons.

On this weeks episode I have a look at when is the rigth time to stop. With pre-season, the season and end of season games it can be full on.

Do coaches need to have a break, re-charge and go again.

I also look at behaviour issue and how best to deal with them. As a new coach of a group of energetic boys, in-fighting and tattle tales are creeping in.

Time to nip it in the bud and get the red card out?

Lets be honest for a change, there a serious problem with respect in football, even at the grassroots level.

Have you witnessed a parent or a coach having a moan about a decision they deemed was wrong? We all have, haven't we. It's time to stamp it out for good.

This week I look at referees, respect and bad behaviour that I've witnessed and encontered as a new football coach.

Is zero tolerance the only way. Should the grassroots game have a bigger push and really protect refs and officials?
