The guys bounced from a fun conversation about how many grandparents it took to make you to getting ready for the Semiquincentennial celebrations and local happenings around the area. Coach Michael Shortt jumped in the saddle. Shortt recapped his trip to Sand Mountain for 7-on-7, including battling through the trip with a kidney stone. The guys also looked ahead to America’s Semiquincentennial celebrations as the Fourth of July approaches, noting how each day this week brings another reason to celebrate heading into the holiday weekend.

Coach Jerry Weems and Coach Kris Herron kicked off the short week with the Semiquincentennial celebration on the horizon. The guys looked back at the debut of the first iPhone 19 years ago, tracked the World Cup as it moved into the knockout stage, and shared memories of what the Fourth of July used to be like.

David Nolen joined Coach Kris Herron on weekend eve. They looked back on a successful School of Rock Camp, talked about Chevrolet bringing back its “Heartbeat of America” campaign with a connection to Alabama, and shared memories from trips to Six Flags Over Georgia.

Ole’ #54, Duane Nappier, sat with Coach Kris Herron. They swapped favorites from Michael Jackson’s catalog, talked about Nap being due for a new pair of glasses, and shared stories from time spent creek floating. Jeremy Character also checked in with tales from the lake and river.
