Coach has worn so many hats in the volleyball world and has coached successfully at the highest of levels of his sport. Over his career, he has been an assistant coach with the US men's national volleyball team when they won a gold medal in the 2008 Olympics. He was also an assistant coach for the US women's national volleyball team when they won a World Championship in 2014 and a silver medal in the 2012 Olympics, a bronze medal in the 2016 Olympics. He was most recently the coach of the Netherlands women's national volleyball team for 2017 to 2019, where they had a runner-up finish at the 2017 European Championships and a fourth-place finish at the 2018 World Championships.
