Ben Boudro- owner of Xceleration Fitness and TWO-TIME METRO-DETROIT TOP FITNESS FACILITY - joins us today for our third edition of Friday Discussions.
Why do we feel so inclined to be right, rather than always seeking truth?Â
Experience those around you in as many informal ways as you do formal ways. Â
I love challenges, and the journey of taking on challenges and chasing dreams makes it all worth it in the end.
If we can put forth significant effort into living truthful lives so our real intentions are well-known by others, that will create an environment of transparency, which then will create a byproduct of trust, which is the basis for everything meaningful and truly desirable in life.
Sometimes we get caught up in trying to make ourselves sound smart, rather than giving others the opportunity to do so. Guard heavily against allowing your ego to get in the way of letting all that knowledge be shared with those around you.
What I have found is that people care more about trust then respect- I know what you’re thinking- “how can that be”. In my opinion, respect can be demanded based upon the position you have, while trust is freely given and earned.
De-value titles, and elevate value in quality and effectiveness of work.Â
When the opportunity presents itself, I encourage you all to choose a life of teaching over telling, and your footprint will always be one beyond your wildest comprehension.
