Do you ever get frustrated that things don’t happen as quickly as you thought they would? Have you questioned whether or not you can make the transition to your dream career? How would you make it all work with the many hats you wear?
Listen in as Lorena Manriquez tells of her sometimes difficult, yet extremely rewarding, transition in her 40s from successful civil engineer to a well-known and passionate professional filmmaker. She is a shining example of forging ahead bravely to reap unexpected rewards as she set and accomplished her goals and told her story to those who needed to hear it.
Lorena is also my sister in law, married to my brother Gregg. I didn’t know I had a brother until I was 25 (and Gregg was 36). This is one of my favorite episodes because it truly reminds me of the miracles that are all around us.
