Damien Platt is a Melbourne-based Artist Manager. Damien was named by APRA as one of Australia’s top 5 music managers to watch. Over the 8 years he has been in the music industry he has worked across a wide range of roles from event management at festivals, tour management, sound engineering, musician, record labels, PR, publishing and artist management.
In 2015, Damien was elected onto two not-for-profit boards, The Push and Face the Music Conference. In the same year Damien started at Teamtrick as a day-to-day manager A&R working with acts such as Allday and Mallrat. In 2017, Damien commenced working as a product manager at Vicious Recordings (Peking Duk, Avicii, Madison Avenue) where he oversees five independent dance labels as well as starting his own management company Palms Management.
Damien represents a diverse roster of emerging acts from Victoria and NSW including Approachable Members Of Your Local Community, Rachel Maria Cox, Juno Disco and as of recently he has signed one of our long time students Tulliah.
