Jajajajaja así empezamos la charla con Jorge Perez sin poder comunicarnos durante los dos primeros minutos de este LIVE Podcast.  Siempre con Jorge no hay ningún momento aburrido ;-)

Jorge actualmente entrenador en el Club Esportiu Meditterani en Barcelona y yo fuimos compañeros en el equipo nacional español durante anos.  Una competición que al instante se convirtió en amistad y que hasta nuestras madres acabaron siendo amigas y eso que no estaban metidas en este mundillo.

Siempre he admirado la manera que Jorge tenia en entrenar y afrontar las competiciones y una de las cosas que siempre he apreciado de él, es la gran amistad que hemos podido mantener durante tantos años.

Escucha este podcast que también veras que Jorge tiene un gran manera de ver su vida como entrenador y como padres.  Os puedo decir que en mi opinion como entrenador Jorge tiene una vision holística de como cuidar al nadador y ayudarle a seguir creciendo y tener un futuro a largo plazo en el deporte.

Always a pleasure to chat about life with my dear friend Brett Hawke.  This morning we had a great LIVE stream chat and we spoke about his thought process when he was a swimmer and a coach and how he balanced both.  Interesting to see his approach to become an elite swimmer was different that to become an elite coach.  Great to see that his children are doing great and that he is spending more time and more quality time with all of them.

Also very impressive how he has been able to double the number of clinics done by "Fitter & Faster" the company he started working two years ago when he decided to step down from coaching college.  I know first hand after working with him at his camps that the young swimmers that he gets to talk to are learning a lot from him and all the elite swimmers he brings to these camps.

alevines y benjamines

propuesto por la Federación Española de Natación

Hoy hemos tenido la oportunidad de conversar sobre los pros y cons de la propuesta que la Federación Española de natación ha hecho sobre las nuevas edades de nadadores alevines y benjamines para la próxima temporada.  Hemos tenido oportunidad de comparar con otros países como Argentina y USA ademas de sacar varias conclusiones positivas.

No te pierdas la segunda parte de esta Charla en la que Ignacio Nacho nos habla sobe los que es "Life Coaching" y la importancia de esta herramienta para nuestro crecimiento personal y para nuestro trabajo con nuestros nadadores.  Ignacio fue nadador con mucha experiencia internacional y ahora esta de ejerciendo como Associate Head Coach en la Universidad de Florida International en Miami.
