Part 2 of our study in Matthew 23, this time comparing Jesus' criticism of the Scribes and Pharisees to our walk today out of verses 5-12. 

Part 1 out of Matthew 23, where we talk about Religious Spirits and how they affected the Pharisees during Jesus' time, as well as how those spirits are rampant in the church today. 

Reading out of Isaiah 54 in discussing whether or not we are true followers of Christ. Do you submit to him and trust in him fully, or do we fall away when strife hits us? 

Working out of Deuteronomy 6:4-9 in how God is united and is One. This relates to our marriage and covenant commitments as God's covenant is over 4000 years old and is still strong.
