Today’s guest has been a dominant force on the mound. As a high schooler, he was a three-year varsity starter at Dakota HS. Recruited to Oakland University, the left-handed pitcher pitched out of the bullpen and starting rotation before being selected by the Miami Marlins in the 21st round of the 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Pitching for several years in the league, he was released in 2015 due to injuries. Our guest has subsequently taken his years of experience and expertise and transitioned into coaching as a 5Tool Assistant Coach and Varsity Pitching Coach and former pitching coach at Oakland University. He has helped train youth pitchers in various organizations around the Metropolitan Detroit Area. In 2020 he will be the Head Varsity Pitching Coach for Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
