This week we cordially invite you to attend the nuptials of Ms. Charlotte York and Dr. Trey MacDougal as Kerry and Becky can’t help but wonder: was the end of Carrie and Aidan’s relationship inevitable all along?
This week Becky is asking the coaching questions as she and Kerry discuss the very strange way Carrie and Aidan discuss flaws the night before Charlotte’s wedding, keep count of Trey’s “alrighties” before the blessed event, and whether Carrie is actually a great friend to Charlotte or a horrible friend as she prepares to walk down the aisle.
Be careful cutting your bagel this morning because Charlotte will absolutely KILL YOU if you bleed on her Vera Wang gown this week on Coaching Carrie!

We’re taking a tour of New York’s finest (and not-so-fine) hotels to have an affair in this week as Kerry and Becky can’t help but wonder, what is it that Carrie’s getting out of this affair with Big anyway?
Kerry’s asking the coaching questions this week as she and Becky discuss the fact that Charlotte doesn’t seem to have thought about what she wants from a marriage other than a wedding, Miranda’s strange and unusual attraction to a sandwich, and the fact that Natasha gets undeserved punishment after being nothing but lovely to Carrie throughout their relationship.
PLEASE stop making that annoying kissing noise so you can hear every single moment of this week’s episode of Coaching Carrie!

It’s fairy tales and epic love stories this week as Kerry and Becky can’t help but wonder: would Charlotte have gone through with marrying Trey if she hadn’t gotten her fantasy proposal?
This week Kerry is coaching all the ladies whose expectations are all being subverted as she and Becky discuss Carrie’s confusion about why she and Aidan aren’t a perfect match in life when he’s nearly perfect on paper, why in the world Samantha would put up with such an insensitive sex partner, and how Miranda can feel confident in her decision to leave Steve even if he hasn’t quite moved out yet.
Buckle up for aaaaaaall the stories about fairy tale proposals gone awry this week on Coaching Carrie!

All aboard the fancy boat this week as Becky and Kerry can’t help but wonder: why in the hell does Carrie tell Big she’s eating cheese when CLEARLY she scarfed a piece of cantaloupe?
It’s all about timing this week as Becky coaches the characters and she and Kerry discuss why in the world Carrie thinks the Gab party is on a fancy boat to begin with, how Miranda and Steve’s relationship managed to fall off a cliff in the matter of a couple of weeks, and all the evidence that the legal profession continues to be a horrible place for women who want to have children (or not) to succeed.
Grab your lifesavers because this ship is going down this week on Coaching Carrie!

It’s all about the drama in this week’s episodes as Kerry and Becky can’t help but wonder: how do these ladies know what’s just drama and what’s real feelings?
Kerry’s coaching the girls this week as she and Becky discuss the set design of Aidan’s furniture shop, whether Carrie actually trapped Aidan into accepting her uppity behavior around meeting his parents, and Kerry performs a mini opera just for all of you.
Put on your black tie gown, grab your opera glasses, and don’t miss the dramatic performances of pretty much everyone on the show and in our recording booth this week on Coaching Carrie!

Let’s talk about sex bay-bee! It’s all about how many partners make us sluts this week and Becky and Kerry can’t help but wonder: what do we want sex to mean in our relationships, anyway?
The ladies are getting it on and facing the music of their sexual histories this week as Becky coaches them and she and Kerry discuss what defines a romantic relationship other than sex, Carrie’s wild wardrobe on her dates with Aiden, and why Charlotte’s misadventures in bed are one of the strongest arguments for why Sex and the City is a show for guys, too.
Get you legal pad ready because this episode will have you wandering down your sexual history memory lane this week on Coaching Carrie!

It’s another problematic episode where the writers of Sex and the City try to grapple with race and Becky and Kerry can’t help but wonder: would basically ANYTHING other than the choices they made here have been better?
Luckily, there’s a lot else going on in this episode as Kerry coaches the characters and discusses with Becky whether Carrie ever actually bought that chair from Aiden, why anyone in their right mind becomes obsessed with porcelain dolls as an adult, and whether Miranda really would have been working on a Sunday with HUGE law books all over her dining room table.
Get ya best J-Lo-looking dress on because we’re headed to the club this week on Coaching Carrie!

Well, we knew the problematic episodes had to start sometime and this week is the week! As we dive into the strange world of bisexual representation in early aughts television, Kerry and Becky can’t help but wonder, what would an art show exclusively about Samantha dressing as a guy look like?
Becky is coaching the ladies this week as she and Kerry discuss the utility of gender stereotypes, who’s making the art that hangs in Charlotte’s gallery, and whether it’s the sexuality or the immaturity that turns Carrie off at the party in this episode.
Buckle up, because we’re in for a wild ride of early-aughts perspectives that didn’t age very well this week on Coaching Carrie!

Grab your drink tickets and your fancy “ladies who lunch” dress because we are heading to this year’s Women in the Arts Luncheon as Kerry and Becky can’t help but wonder, is Natasha just as intimidated by Carrie as Carrie is of Natasha?
Kerry’s asking the coaching questions this week as she and Becky discuss whether the girls are members at the Helena Rubenstein spa, why women so often choose to consider the worst version of themselves in comparison to the very best version of others, and whether this episode puts too tidy a bow on Charlotte’s body issues.
Be careful what form of “they’re,” their” and “there” you use in your thank you notes with us this week on Coaching Carrie!
