In 2008, Carissa walked into her family garage and discovered her Father deceased.  The trauma of that event followed her for many years until she came to a life-changing realization.  She tells it so much better than I can so I won't spoil it, but suffice to say that she found a way to grow a beautiful garden out of, well, shit.
