In Revelation 3-14-22 Jesus speaks to the Church in Laodicea. This is probably the most popular letter to the seven churches, but it is also the most convicting. Am I like the church in Laodicea- Am I serious about the Gospel of Jesus or am I just playing games with God-

In Revelation 3-7-13, Jesus speaks to the Church in Philadelphia. In these verses He tells the believers that He will be with them as they face tribulation- He will make them strong in their faith and help them to continue to follow Him until the end. What hope this letter gives to us, knowing that God will keep His children secure even though we face persecution and hardships in life.

In Revelation 2-8-11, Jesus speaks to the Church in Smyrna. He tells them to not be afraid and to be faithful in spite of the persecution that they will face. May we do the same, as our culture becomes more and more anti-Christian. May we not be afraid and may we remain faithful to the Gospel of Jesus.

We will look at Revelation 2-1-7. Before we look at the letters to the seven churches, we answer the question of the identity of these angels of the seven churches. I would encourage you to have a Bible in front of you and read the passages of scripture that help clarify our understanding of the identity of the angels of the seven churches. After this, we will look at the first letter to the church in Ephesus. This church was doing all the right things, but lost their love for God. Are we like these believers-
