Mankind has exchanged the truth of God for lies. Humanity has given itself up to sin (Eph. 4:17-19). In response, Paul teaches that God also gives them over to the natural consequences of sin (Rom. 1:24, 26, 28). And God is just in this response, for all of humanity has a knowledge of God and His judgment (Rom. 1:28, 32). Thankfully, there is hope in Jesus Christ (Rom. 3:21-22).
