Isaiah 35: 1-10God's coming has never been more powerfully attested to than when he came as a baby, interrupting human history and taking on human flesh. We believe that Jesus' coming was a powerful indicator of God's character - from the beginning of time and to every person in every situation - He comes! This message also includes a reading of Frank Peretti's childrens' book "All Is Well."

Isaiah 11: 1-10Christians believe that God has written a different "story" for all of creation by sending his son Jesus Christ. In this message we consider some of the dynamics of this story and reflect on specific decisions we can make to daily live under God's rule.

Isaiah 2: 1-5On this first Sunday of Advent we are reminded of God's ability to make all things new and invited to "live into the vision" of God's work of restoration that has begun with the coming of Jesus Christ and will be fulfilled when he comes again.

Philippians 3: 1-16Drawing from the Apostle Paul's testimony in these verses and from the simple words of a familiar worship chorus we are invited to decide, again or for the first time, to follow Jesus, "no turning back, no turning back."

Philippians 3: 17 - 4: 9In this message we hear about what it means to be a "citizen of heaven" right here and now and what life can look like inside the Christian colony, the Church.

Philippians 3: 1-16With the Apostle Paul's testimony from this portion of Philippians in the foreground and the familiar words of a simple worship chorus in the background, we are called to follow Jesus, "no turning back, no turning back."

Philippians 2: 19-30Hearing the Apostle Paul's invitation to "honor men like" his partners in ministry Timothy and Epaphroditus, today we take time to honor three of Coast Community's partners in ministry; Rob Crawford of Young Life, Krista Beard of the Goleta Homework Club and Betsy Gray of Network Medical (Life Network).

Philippians 2: 12-18In this message we learn what it looks like to move from having the attitude of Christ to living a "shining" life of obedience to God.

Philippians 2: 5-11Listen as we hear the Apostle Paul describe the "Jesus Way" of selfless humility that is to serve as a model, a pattern of thinking for Christians everywhere and in every generation who are living together in community.

Philippians 1: 27 - 2: 4In this passage we hear the Apostle Paul encouraging the believers to stand firm in their lifestyle, in their defense of the gospel and in unity. In our day of loose living, spiritual pluralism and rugged individualism this passage speaks a powerful word for believers still today.
