The scriptures teach us that our words can set a fire (James 3:6). They can lift others up or tear others down. Our thoughts can be haunted by past words spoken over us that stir up doubts or painful memories. How do we let go of past hurtful words to move forward in our walk with the Lord? The solution to this is found in three key tactics that the Apostle Paul describes for Christians in the New Testament.

In the conclusion to "The Same Faith" series, we take a look at Philippians 4 where Paul pleads with Euodia and Syntyche to agree.  These women aren't problem makers, they are people who Paul says "have struggled together in the gospel," but they have hit a disagreement.  Paul had a similar conflict with Peter at one point.  Through their struggle we see that in ministry, there will be conflicts and differences of opinion.  There will be friction.  The call for us today is to find harmony and unity, finding common ground where there is not hatred or an allowance made for the entrance of the Adversary.
