An epic fun-filled game show takes place on this weeks episode, with two awesome listeners/contestants taking the show to test their theme park knowledge in "Which One is it?". The top of the show holds some valuable and interesting news stories as well, making this quite the episode this week.
SHOW NOTES:
Three exciting Rumors are swarming around the amusement industry this week. With a mysterious Kentucky Kingdom social media post, a Water Country USA project seemingly in the works, and a possible major change to DrachenSpire at Busch Gardens Va, the guys are speculating pretty much the whole first half of the show. Stick around for more: the FINAL champion is crowned for "The Trail of the Elements" tournament and James and Bob talk 2021 park plans!
SHOW NOTES
It's been quite some time since we last heard from Daniel on the show. Do not fret, as this episode marks the return of the Dan as he joins the guys to talk "The Trial of the Elements". Before his triumphant return, however, listen in as James and Bob break down the most recent amusement park rumors, news, and updates.
SHOW NOTES:
There's "Bad Blood" this week between Taylor Swift and Evermore park. After her album "Evermore" was released the park stated it infringes on the theme park's trademarked name. Other news follows that, well, interesting story. Of course to end the show the third round of the Trial of Elements commences, where we figure out which FOUR elements make it to the fourth round.
SHOWS NOTES:
We start the show off this week with quite a strange requirement out of the Cedar Fair parks this year. The chain also happened to announce tentative opening dates for some of their parks. More news follows. Then it is eventually again time to revisit The Trial of Elements - where the guys (with the help of the audience) try to figure out the best coaster elements ever!
SHOW NOTES
Ever wanted to drive through a theme park to see Hot Wheel Monster Trucks? No, yeah it can't be said that James and Bob have either. Nonetheless, Six Flags Over Georgia will be host to such an activity for the remainder of January and all of February. Other news discussed, but the highlight of the show is The Trial of Elements! The First Round ensues this week, listen in as we break down the greatest coaster elements of all time, and argue quite a bit about the "Skyloop".
SHOW NOTES
While testing the new trains for the Big Apple Coaster, an oopsy occurred that had the community in up roar, but within weeks the ride is already back to testing. This news and a whole lot more is covered in this weeks show. Also, THE TRIAL OF ELEMENTS is announced as well as the audiences 2021 theme park goals!
SHOW NOTES
Remember Krampus Expedition? Yeah, we totally over hyped that ride to a degree. But don't let that get you down, there's tons of other GREAT news and announcements to discuss this week! We also take a stroll through memory lane to see what 2020 ended up looking like for the podcast. All that and a whole lot more in this week's episode of Coaster Talk Podcast.
SHOW NOTES
This weeks news segment solely (and accidentally) focuses on non U.S. theme park news... Hopefully that won't turn any off, as the discussions and commentary ensue that we think most will enjoy. The second half of the show holds great content as well as the guys discuss the near future of the industry, as well as B&M's best.
SHOW NOTES:
James and Bob are excited to look at a good friend of the show's poll, Vote Coasters - Coaster Bot. It was a pretty great poll, but as we all know enthusiasts never agree... That and a whole lot more including the Coaster Talk Podcast Shop are all talked about on our second triple digit episode!
