Guest Preacher Dr. Jeff Gaskins walked us through Titus 1:5-9 where we find that the strength or weakness of a local church depends on the spiritual maturity and doctrinal soundness of faithful pastors.

As we reflect on an action-packed 2025, Coastway Church looks forward to receiving a new pastor, who as Ephesians 4:11-16 shows us is a gift who equips us to build the church in unity, maturity, and health.

Luke 2:1-11 shows us the first Christmas, and there we discover that everything was just right, the time, the place, the people, and the response to the birth of the Savior of the World!

From Matthew 1:18-25 we see the difficulty and the impact of Joseph's obedience to take his part in the coming of the Messiah to save the world.

Isaiah 9:1-7 reminds us that Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace

Guest preacher, Dr. Jeff Gaskins reminded us from Haggai 2:20-23 that because the Sovereign Lord will prevail in His eternal plan, His servants should be encouraged to trust Him and do His will even when the circumstances are difficult.

As we continue our study in Haggai, we see how God explains the mystery of holiness to an unholy people bringing hope that can only come by His grace.

In Haggai 2:1-9, we are learn that healthy churches make peace with the past and work toward His vision for the future.

Today guest preacher Will Renfrow reminded the church of the importance of holiness in our response to the grace we've received from Christ, and for the power we need to be effective in our witness. He also encouraged those that do not know Christ that it is not holiness that saves, but that is made possible when we are saved as we repent and believe on Jesus for salvation!

This morning we saw how Haggai's call to prioritize the building of God's house applies to the Church. From this we learned that believers are to rearrange our priorities and return the work of God's house to first place in our lives.
