Coco Car Chats

For the first episode of Coco Car Chats, I'm joined by my Canberra United teammate, vice Captain, Liz Anton.

Liz is a New Zealand international defender who has represented the Football Ferns at the Tokyo Olympics and the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

After four seasons with Perth Glory, Liz joined Canberra United, where she was named the club's 2024/25 Player of the Year and captained the side on five occasions. She then took her career overseas to Norway with Kolbotn before returning to Canberra.

With 30 international appearances for New Zealand and experience playing professionally in Australia and Europe. With 100 A-League appearances Liz has plenty of stories to tell.

We chat about how her football journey began, the realities of professional sport, what goes on behind the scenes and a few stories you might not expect.
