This is a situation where my role as a supervisor is being undermined by both HR and a white male who is actually under my supervision! Plus I get blamed for his outrageous and insulting behavior! Indeed, White privilege and microaggression at the work place are "A Thing!"

It is great to work with my fellow African people at work but familiarity is usually an issue and tends to cause friction at some point. Think about it!

A subordinate at work came to tell me that "I am stepping on toes." Hahaha, did I give him a response that he will forget for the rest of the week at least! I said then those those will be crushed if need be! Ouch!
