I had the privilege of meeting Corey for the first time when I asked her to come on the Wake up the Sun show. She is a force of nature in the yoga community as well as the event space in Delray Beach. Through social media I've observed her taking a small market concept an blowing it up over the last couple months to include local vendors, fitness professionals, teachers, athletes among many others. It takes a lot to get something like that off the ground and she has got the hang of it. She has battled city hall and the challenges of navigating through a ton of rules and regulations to continue The Coco Markets expansion. The best new is that her growth has led her to a bigger space in Boca Raton at the BRIC center off Yamato road. Her debut is this coming Saturday with COCOFEST starting at 8:30am. Please support and come check out over 100 vendors, food, fitness, music and community connection.
We had the chance to sit down and chat about the importance of a morning practice and routine which for her features being quiet, outside and usually watching the sunrise. Setting the intention into action didn't always come easy to hear and close to 10 years ago, she found herself miserable with her work, life and goals. After hitting rock bottom she found herself yearning to do more. Upon visiting her dad and being dragged to a yoga class, something shifted and changed her outlook. She set into learning more and taking as many classes with many different instructors as she could and began to realize she was going to create her own brand. The rest as you might say is history and more to come for her, her brand Coco Market and more. Please go check out her market and for any questions @thecocoyogi or @cocomarket.tribe on instagram or www.cocomarket.org. Enjoy the show!
