    As reported by Bloomberg
Donald Trump seems set on pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal next week, with U.S. officials suggesting that any initial diplomatic turbulence will be followed by negotiations for a new accord. There’s one big hang-up: Iran is ruling out new talks, calling the current agreement “non-negotiable.”
Three Americans Held by North Korea Will be Freed
    As reported by CNBC
Rudy Giuliani, a member of President Trump's legal team and former New York mayor, made his proclamation hours after President Trump made reference to the three Americans in a tweet that reflected optimism the case of the Americans would soon be determined.
Illegal immigration surges 230% in April on Southwest Border
As reported by the Washington Times
According to new numbers released Thursday because of major loopholes in American immigration law. Chief among the loopholes is the de facto “catch-and-release” policy that sees most illegal immigrants caught at the border quickly put back out on the streets, with the hope that they’ll return to be deported later.
Netanyahu Reveals Documents Proving Iranian Nuclear Program
As Reported by Real Clear Politics
Israeli PM Netanyahu made a special presentation documenting what Israeli intelligence says is proof of a clandestine Iranian nuclear program. "Iran did not come clean on its nuclear program," Netanyahu said.

    Here are the headlines:
Pompeo Faces Tough Battle for Senate Confirmation
    As reported by Fox News
Most Democrats on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have announced plans to oppose Pompeo next week -- sparking speculation that the panel could take the unusual step of sending the nomination to the full Senate without a favorable recommendation.
A lack of Senate support for Pompeo could spell trouble for Trump who already sees the former Kansas congressman as “the nation’s chief diplomat.”
The Importance of Striking Syria's Scientific Studies and Research Center
    As reported by PJ Media
With air strikes on Syria's chemical weapons facilities, carried out jointly with Britain and France, America has done the right thing.
Leading from in front, President Trump is finally redrawing the red line that President Obama erased in 2013.
The vital message is that America is no longer the hamstrung giant of the Obama era.
Tyrants such as Syria's Bashar al-Assad, and his patrons in Moscow and Tehran, have been served notice that it would be unwise to continue to assume that America will waffle, appease or simply retreat while they take upon themselves the shaping -- to monstrous effect -- of the 21st-century world order.
This message is also likely to resonate in Beijing (which has reportedly been planning live-fire naval exercises next week in the Taiwan Strait) and Pyongyang (with its nuclear missile projects).
Israel Planning for Direct Retaliatory Attack from Iran
As reported by The Jerusalem Post
Israel is preparing for a crossborder attack by the Revolutionary Guard Corps, in response to a strike allegedly carried out by the Jewish state against an Iranian-operated air base in Syria that killed seven of its soldiers.
Israel believes the attack will come in the form of precision-guided missiles or armed drones launched from a base in Syria by the IRGC itself – not by proxies, as was done before.
Aerial photos of Iranian bases in Syria were released Tuesday morning that show Tehran has increased the scope of its military relationship with the Assad regime under the auspices of the IRGC’s air force commander Brig.-Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

    Here are the headlines.
Illegal Immigration to America is Rising Again
    As reported by The Economist
DHS announced that Border Patrol agents apprehended 37,393 people in March, an increase of more than 200% on the previous year.
The number of unaccompanied children caught entering illegally jumped by 300%, and the number of families detained while attempting the journey surged by nearly 700%.
On April 4th President Trump announced plans to deploy 2,000 to 4,000 National Guard troops to the Mexican border to support federal law enforcement.
He has continued to tout his achievements. “We’re toughening up at the border” he told a crowd in West Virginia on April 5th. “We’re throwing them out by the hundreds.
Pompeo supports Trump plan to 'fix' Iran deal
    As reported by The Hill
Secretary of State nominee Mike Pompeo said Thursday he shares President Trump’s views on “fixing” the Iran nuclear deal or withdrawing by May 12.
The Trump administration is negotiating with European allies for a follow-on deal that addresses three issues Trump sees with the Iran deal:
several provisions sunset, inspectors can’t demand to see some military sites and it does not address other activities of interest by Iran, such as its ballistic missile program and support of terrorists.
If European officials do not agree to the new deal, Trump has said he will not renew sanctions waivers on May 12, essentially withdrawing the United States from the international accord.
National Guard Troops Have Already Begun Patrolling the U.S.-Mexico Border
    As reported by TIME
National Guard troops have begun their deployment along the Southern border, marking a swift realization of President Donald Trump’s call for a boosted border presence until his long-promised border wall is constructed.
Each of the four states that border Mexico has agreed to send National Guard troops to patrol the region.
Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and yes, even California.
Israel and Iran Are Headed for a Collision in Syria
    As reported by the Atlantic
The routing of ISIS and the reestablishment of Bashar al-Assad's rule across much of the state of Syria is facilitating the expansion of Iran’s influence—indeed its de facto takeover—in much of the country.
And with each passing day the sensation in Israel, of standing alone against the Iranian gambit to turn Syria into an Iranian forward base, grows more intense.
U.S. Considered Blacklisting Two Banks Over North Korea Ties
    As reported by Bloomberg
U.S. officials alarmed by public displays of North Korea’s nuclear and missile technology last summer considered taking the provocative step of blacklisting two of China’s biggest banks from the U.S. financial system for doing business with North Korea, three people familiar with the matter said.
But the idea of a U.S. ban was soon shelved, primarily because of fears that punishing lenders of that size might send shock waves through the global financial system, the people said.
After conducting an economic impact analysis, officials worried about potential systemic damage and retaliatory measures from China, they explained
