In April, the Georgia Bulldogs made history when they became the first university to produce five first-round draft picks from the defensive side of the ball.

Defensive end Travon Walker was selected No. 1 by the Jaguars, followed by defensive tackle Jordan Davis to the Eagles at No. 13. The Green Bay Packers made history of their own, selecting linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt at No. 22 and No. 28, respectively. Those two picks made Green Bay the first team to select two college teammates from the same defense in the first round of the draft. The first round closed with the Vikings taking Georgia safety Lewis Cine at No. 32 overall.

Two weeks later, and all five of those Georgia defenders have signed their NFL contracts for a combined value of roughly $92.5 million.

Ten people were killed and another three wounded when a mass shooting erupted at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, that authorities allege was a "racially motivated hate crime" carried out by a heavily armed white teenager who fired a barrage of 50 shots outside and inside the market.

An 18-year-old male suspect is in custody, police said. The shooter live-streamed the Saturday afternoon attack on social media and etched the names of previous mass shooters and racial epithets on the gun he allegedly used to carry out the attack, a source familiar with the investigation told ABC News.

The gunman, wearing military fatigues, body armor and a tactical helmet, shot four people in the parking lot of a Tops supermarket around 2:30 p.m., three fatally. He proceeded inside the store where he was confronted by a retired Buffalo police officer working security, police said.

The guard shot and struck the suspect, but without effect due to the body armor, police said.

Following the fatal stabbing of Christian Toby Obumseli, several tweets from his teenage years have resurfaced — showing him targeting Black women. Now, his brother, Jeffrey Obumseli is addressing them, along with calling out his brother’s girlfriend, and murder suspect, Courtney Taylor Clenney for using her “white privilege” to evade consequences.

Jeffrey writes, “As a family, we strongly disagree with the ignorant and repulsive tweets from my then-high school-aged brother that have recently surfaced. However, the tweets do not diminish our demand for a thorough investigation into Toby’s murder or negate the necessity for justice. It’s been a week since my brother was brutally and senselessly killed. Courtney Taylor Clenney’s callous actions have not been met with an ounce of remorse. We’ve seen videos of Courtney kissing her dogs while covered in what we believe to be my brother’s blood and casually getting drinks at a hotel bar days later while my brother lays in the morgue.”
