Cody Lee Meece is an award winning singer/songwriter from Somerset, Kentucky. Cody Lee spent the majority of his life playing music all over the United States. During his travels he picked up different flavors and styles of songwriting and storytelling. He has developed a deep earthy, intimate and very vulnerable writing style. Scars and tattoos tell his story of a life spent on the run in dark places, only to come out clean and wise.

In 2022 Cody Lee Meece & The Poor Excuses released a 3 song EP with Death Before Pop Country & Smith Music titled “BIG BAD LOVE”. In 2020 Cody Lee released his first EP titled “The Break” and received
Album of the Year for the Lexi Awards.
A friend once quoted "Cody Lee makes the kind of music that doesn't make Waylon roll over in his grave" We would have to agree.
Cody most recently was awarded 2022 Best Guitarist in the Appalachian Arts and Entertainment Awards and was nominated for two others. Back in 2021 Cody recieved a Lexi Award for Album of the Year. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Sally Buice and Molly Rochelson of songwriter duo The Montvales spent much of their formative years busking amidst the Elvis impersonators and musical saw players of the town’s Market Square, honing their uniquely boisterous harmonies and driving, joyful sound. Eventually they graduated to playing indoors on the local Americana radio station, WDVX, and found community in old-time circles around town. After moving away for several years to seek their fortunes separately, Molly and Sally finally reunited in 2019 to write and record their first album, Heartbreak Summer Camp. The two now make their home in Cincinnati, Ohio, they've named themselves the Montvales, and they have no shortage of clubs and other venues looking to showcase their talent.

Clark Kissick is a singer/songwriter from Owingsville, Kentucky. Clark sings with this great “old soul” baritone voice you are go-ing to love! 
Clark is a man of many talents who has lived a life of many ups and downs and all-arounds! Join us next week not only to hear this talented musician play with a great band, but also to hear him talk to Bradford about his life on and off stage, including his tenure with the University of Kentucky football program.

Charlotte Morris discovered her passion for this work at a young age because the fabric of her home and family life was music. Classical music, Broadway tunes, and especially folk music. “Every family car ride" says Charlotte "was filled with folk clas-sics, – Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Simon & Garfunkel, and Peter, Paul & Mary.”
Charlotte learned a number of instruments on her own, and be-fore she knew it, Charlotte said, “Music grew from something I loved to something I needed." 
In January of 2018, Charlotte joined Lonesome Traveler – a na-tional concert tour where the cast performed the history of folk music, starting with Woody Guthrie and ending with songs
from Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez. While on the road, folk legends including Tom Chapin, George Grove (Kingston Trio), Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey (both of Peter, Paul and Mary) performed with the cast at various venues.

From the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music at Morehead State University (Morehead, KY), the Mountain Music Ambassadors showcase a variety of bluegrass, old time and country music stylings. Featuring
students studying Traditional Music, the Ambassadors have entertained audiences across the United States and internationally in the People’s Republic of China,
Ireland, Hungary and Slovakia. Recognized as one of the premier institutions for studying American Traditional
Music, the KCTM’s focus extends beyond the classroom, connecting students with
accomplished musicians to create a learning environment that combines musical prowess with a deep understanding of the industry. Under the direction of Daxson Lewis and Ruth McLain, the current lineup of the
Mountain Music Ambassadors includes Lucy Becker, Hoppál Piroska, Ladanyi Csenge, Thomas Lyngklip, Robert Myers, Pachert Martón, and Turi Barna.
