I'm discussing three books this episode : I Am Her Tribe, by Danielle Doby, My Wish List by Gregoire Delacourt, and Pygmalion by Bernard Shaw. All three were enjoyable reads and are Worth Reading but Pygmalion was my favorite, followed closely by My Wish List.

Not all books go down easy. Some are difficult to relate to, hard to comprehend, and sometimes just out of our reach. Do not be afraid of challenging books though! Growth comes from adversity, from challenge. Growth does not happen in your comfort zone. So the book that scares you? Read it! The book you think you won't understand? Give it a try! Worst case scenario, you invest a few hours of time trying something new and then move on with your life. It can't hurt to try. - Emily Rocket

This book holds a special place in my heart. I have read it twice now and found new techniques for personal growth and new comforts each time. A beautifully written collection of knowledge from wife, mother and successful entrepreneur, Emily Ley, who sweetly reminds us that no one is perfect and that we don't need to be. Filled with tips on how to be more gracious with ourselves and others, and what "grace" really means, I think every woman can learn and grow from this book.

Hey everyone! I have a head cold in this episode but it didn't stop me from trying to start a big conversation with you all.

I wanted to love this book, I expected to love this book, and I was horribly disappointed. Ellen DeGeneres' "My Point and I Do Have One" just wasn't for me. If you do pick up this book, I highly recommend that you limit your expectations. It is a joke. Literally.

I finished The Help at 2:50 in the morning and maybe that had something to do with me crying, but honestly it is such an emotional novel, full of tension, fear and a little relief. I was an emotional see-saw all the way through.
