Our psyches are balanced, and if our ego is the “light” of our conscious awareness, our shadow is the “dark” part of our psyche. Dark does not necessarily mean negative, evil, or malevolent (although it can). When we speak of the shadow being dark it’s because it’s unconscious to us #coffeeandcontemplation
