This week Ashley interviews her co-host, Alex! Alex owns Café la Reine, a coffee shop and cafe located in downtown Manchester, NH.  Alex gets real about what it's like to be a small business owner. She shares her struggles, what she loves most about being an entrepreneur, and tips for aspiring business owners. She also discusses time management and what it's like to own a business and teach barre and yoga at Ashley's studio, Barre Life, all while taking on clients in her new business, A. Horton Consulting, LLC. 

This week Ashley and Alex welcome Benjamin Pasley to the show! Benjamin is the General manager of the Bookery in downtown Manchester, NH. He discusses his background, how he came to the Bookery, and how he has become a local Tik Tok star. We reflect on how COVID-19 has affected the downtown business community, and how it is so important for businesses to support one another in these times, and always. Benjamin has created an incredibly diverse, inclusive, and accepting space in our community, and is an inspiration to us all. 

Welcome back and happy New Year! This week, Ashley and Alex discuss their New Year's resolutions, and why it's okay to go easy on yourself as we head into 2021. Ashley describes her adventure in becoming a detective after both Ashley and Alex's cars were keyed in 2020. They also recap Takeout Tuesdays in Manchester! An initiative run by the Greater Manchester Chamber, Takeout Tuesdays were created to promote our locally owned restaurants. Ashley and Alex list some of their favorites!
