It's our 4th week with Crescent City: House of Flame and Shadow by SJM, and this week we're reading chapters 31 to 41. This week, Bryce makes it back to her world and pulls an amazing plan for information before finally reuniting with Hunt. Lidia essentially rescues the boys single-handidly and we cannot stop telling them to chill it on the whining!

It's week 3 with Sarah J Maas' Crescent City Book 3, House of Flame and Shadow, and this week we're reading chapters 19-30. This week, Bryce continues to grow closer to Nesta and Azriel, but she makes a terrible decision that affects how they see her. Lidia is single-handedly trying to save Hunt, Ruhn, and Baxion by getting the sprite Queen's help, but she isn't covering tracks well! And Ithan and Tharion are whining the entire time about how they think everything is their fault, and we are eye-rolling the whole time.

It's week 2 with Crescent City 3: House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J Maas. This week, Bryce, Nesta, and Azriel share more about themselves, and we finally start to get some answers! Hunt, Ruhn, and Baxion are still suffering, but they've come up with a plan of escape without Lidia. Finally, Ithan and crew are not very smart and antagonize the Viper Queen AND Ariadne...plus he keeps talking about what an athlete he is.

It's our first week with Book 3 of Sarah J Maas' Crescent City series - House of Flame and Shadow! This is a big one, so we're doing it for the next 2 months to gear up for the release of ACOTAR Book 6 - A Court of Splintered Harmony! We're reading chapters 1-7. This week, we reacquaint ourselves with Bryce, Hunt, Ruhn, Lidia, and yes....even Ithan...who apparently plays Sunball? We complain about the timeline and about Ithan some more, and we just try to remember what's been happening since it's been ages since we read this book!

It's our last episode with The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent, and this week we're finishing off chapters 62 to the end. This week, we reach the end of Asar and Mische's story. Asar does what he thinks is best for Mische and ascends to divinity, at the cost of everything he knows, and the dead choose a new leader to represent them (and it's glorious)! Plus, the question we've been asking for weeks on how this will be resolved? It's resolved perfectly! Plus, we get an epilogue introducing Septimus, the character who is the main focus for the next duet!

It's week 3 with The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent, and this week we're reading chapters 37-61. This week, Mische and Asar travel to find the Eye, and encounter some problems along the way. We meet another Goddess, and she isn't cool, and Asar has to take Mische to the Night Court where we are reunited with our fave couple from the Nightborn Duet, Raihn and Oreya! Oh, and Mische can touch people now for some reason?

It's week 2 with The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent, and this week we're reading chapters 18-36. So, this week, Mische and Asar figure out how to get the items they need....they also figure out how to get around the whole no touching issue......there's a piano involved! Asar makes some questionable decisions, and our sweet baby angel, Raihn, makes an appearance! Our main couple also gets some help from an unlikely source....

It's our first week with The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent. It's the 2nd book in the Shadowborn Duet and the 4th book in the Crowns of Nyaxia series. This week, we meet up again with Asar and Mische, who are in tricky situations. Asar has been locked up by the gods, and Mische wakes up dead in the Underworld. They need to reunite in order to save the Underworld and bring Mische back to life. They get some unlikely help from a pompous dead King, and a goddess with a hidden agenda! And the biggest surprise of all? Ma wife!!!

It's our last week with The Ballad of Falling Dragons by Sarah A. Parker, and this week we're reading chapters 80-End. This week, everything reaches a head when Raeve is the MVP and creates literal giants to go up against Arkyn. We finally meet one of the creators, and it turns out he's just a hot guy, and Kaan deals with the ultimate heartbreak....we aren't ready! Oh yeah, and everyone essentially forgets that a 9-year-old child exists for a little bit.

It's week 4 with The Ballad of Falling Dragons by Sarah A. Parker, and this week we're reading chapters 60-79! This week, we watch Raeve be a badass on multiple levels, but we also watch all of the Scavenger King's plans start to come together. Any sympathy we had for him is over....lol. Also, we face heartbreak after heartbreak with the rest of our characters, and someone we DID NOT expect knocks Pyrok off his feet!
