Resurrection Rap Lyrics

Everyone who reads the Bible Knows about the Lord’s arrival

The savior’s name is Jesus Christ for he became a sacrifice

He saved us from the wrath of God by preaching in the synagogue

By dying on the cross for us to save us from our sinful lust yeah

So read the Bible and cry out the savior’s holy name

And once you’re born again all-new, you’ll never be the same

You won’t be carrying all of your heavy sinful weight

Cause Jesus paid it all that it might change your fate

Not everyone you know or meet will be believing

Most of them hold fast to the one deceiving

They forgot the God that holds the whole creation

And that he deserves all of our adoration

Chorus; Jesus has been raised for God resurrected him in 3 days

He came for the sick and not for the healthy

Not for the righteous but for the sinners

For the king of kings has been resurrected Holy and divine he has each of us selected

He died on the cross and then descended to hell

And then he rose up in glory to see his people are well

To see the sinners coming to repentance

As they realize that Jesus is the one and only entrance to heaven

Matthew Mark Luke John they’re the gospels

Acts carries it on with the apostles

Jesus leaves them and ascended to heaven

Going in glory up above the eleven

Peter stood up for them in those days Preaching the gospel in so many ways

saying Jesus has been raised for God resurrected him in 3 days

He came for the sick and not for the healthy Not for the righteous but for the sinners For the king of kings has been resurrected Holy and divine he has each of us selected

Song Rainy Nights Artist Azaleh

In this episode of Coffee House Theology, Jose and Josiah continue the discussion of the book Slaying Leviathan.

Mother's Day Song by Josiah Ruiz for his mother Becky.

Mother’s Day, is a special way

to thank your Mom it’s true.

For there’s a role that mothers play

which no one else could do.

Whether life makes us sad

Or things are going bad

or if we feel like we want to cry,

they’ll always hold your hand,

they seem to understand

all our problems til the day we die.

Chorus

Mother’s Day, that’s today, let’s give our Moms

a cheer. Mother’s Day, that’s to say we love our

mothers dear.

Verse 2

But that’s not all,

your jobs not small

it’s not an easy task

for our whole lives from the time we’d crawl

you’ve done more than we could ask

you’ve made sure we’re fed you gave us a bed

and your work doesn’t seem to end you’re

always there for us even when we fuss and

help us better than any friend

In this episode of Coffee House Theology, Jose and Josiah discuss songwriting and the benefits of memorizing scripture.
