Welcome back True Believers to episode 39. We've been enjoying the 1980's theme in Stranger Things and it has made us think back to all the amazing, and not so amazing, movies from that era. So we thought we'd take a trip back from the future to remember some of the greatest films that became franchises from that era (and some not so great). Join us in our trip down memory lane and let us know what we missed.

Also @one_true_nerdking on Instagram needs a little community love. His daughter Gwyn is going through chemo again so we are doing a fundraiser to help cover costs. We made a "Friends of Gwyn Hope" limited edition t-shirt to help raise money. All the proceeds past production and shipping costs go to Philip and Gwyn to help cover her medical costs. You can get the shirt on our site under the apparel section HERE. Thanks for helping out with this important cause for a member of the community.

Welcome back True Believers! So much great stuff to talk about, but is it too much? Our Dynamic Duo Dave & John talk about that very thing. Is there just too much out there and are we starting to suffer from content overload? If so what does that mean? Also there are a lot of tangents in this one. A lot!

This episode is brought to you by The Trinity medium roast available now on our new and improved Coffee 'n' Capes website. Also don't forget you can now get comics and coming soon our coffee and comic subscription option! WHAT?!?!
