In today's episode, we're going to talk about a powerful technique for enhancing your success rates. Instead of focusing solely on big and intimidating goals, we're going to shift our attention to smaller, achievable milestones - what we call micro goals. These micro goals are like stepping stones that bring us one step closer to our ultimate objectives. By breaking down our larger goals into a series of mini achievements, we can make daunting tasks feel more manageable and definitely within our reach.
I share practical examples of how you can redefine your approach to goals - whether you're training for a marathon or writing a novel - and methods about how you can establish micro goals that will help you achieve substantial progress. Lastly I discuss the significance of not just aiming for end goals, but digging deeper to identify your purpose goals. By understanding the 'why' behind your objectives, you can inject greater clarity, purpose, and growth into your path towards success.

Hey there! Welcome to another episode of "Coffee Powered Systems"! Today I'm excited to introduce you to a productivity tool that has been a game-changer for me - Sunsama!
Let's be real, achieving work-life balance can be a real struggle. But with Sunsama, managing my time effectively has become so much easier! This digital daily planner helps me stay focused and organized throughout the day.
One of my favorite features of Sunsama is the daily time goals. It's so satisfying to see the progress I'm making towards my goals throughout the day. Plus, the task ordering and calendar time boxing features help me prioritize my tasks and make sure I'm making the most of my time.
And can we talk about the ability to check emails from within the app? Genius! No more switching back and forth between my email and task list. And when I really need to buckle down and focus, I can enter focus mode to really commit to one specific thing.
Overall, I highly recommend Sunsama for anyone looking to track their to-do list and tasks. It's been a valuable tool for me and I'm sure it will be for you too!
[00:00:00]: Introduction and overview of Sunsama
[00:01:01]: My struggle with work-life balance and how it is hard to achieve.
[00:04:49]: Features of Sunsama, including its compatibility with other apps, guided daily planning, and daily time goals.
[00:08:34]: Email and time tracking features, the different ways to order tasks in Sunsama, including time blocking

Today, I want to share my recent website journey with you. I used to be a WordPress gal, but I recently made the switch to Showit and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer!
One of the best things about Showit is the ability to customize any page. I love having the freedom to create a website that truly reflects my brand and personality. Plus, their customer support is top-notch. Whenever I have a question or need help, they're always there to assist me.
Another great thing about Showit is the use of compatible plugins. It makes integrating different features and functionalities a breeze. However, I will say that there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using Showit. But if you have a little patience and practice, you'll get the hang of it in no time... or you can always hire a ShowIt designer expert to do it for you!
If you're thinking about making the switch to Showit, I highly recommend exploring your options and considering costs before making any decisions. But overall, I can confidently say that Showit is worth it for its customization options, ease of use, and excellent customer support. So, take a listen and tell me what you think!

Today’s tip is: Showit: Drag & Drop Website Builder
From their website: Create a website that books the clients you love
I stumbled upon Showit sometime last year and although I thought the websites were very pretty, I was very used to my WordPress sites and was not in the mood to switch anything up.
Fast forward a few months and I was looking for someone to redo my website and that’s how I came across Emma Troy— but she specialized in ShowIt sites... so I took another look and here we are.
Join me today as I chat about Showit!

When I started my business— and up until just recently, my vision was to help walk you through ALL the things you need to know in order to run your business smoothly with tech.
I wanted to be able to give you an idea of how to use a variety of tools and apps, or maybe just choose the ones that you are using and forget the rest.
What I’ve come to realize is that I don’t need to (nor can I) be all things to all people.
Yes… we’ve heard it before… NICHE DOWN!
Master those few tools and use everything they have to offer instead of piecing together a bunch of different ones. If some of the tools below seem intriguing (or maybe you already use them!), then stay tuned-in to future emails that go more in depth on tips and tricks for using these specific tools.
Below is my current tech stack, and this is all I need right now (outside of things I use for podcasting, but those are specialized). I want you to look at my list and reevaluate if you can pare yours down to just a few.
Coda - A modular, cloud-based, document management (think Google docs plus sheets). I use Coda for project management, SOPs, account management, podcast show notes, financial management, metrics, goal tracking, etc. Basically anything you can do with Google Drive.
ActiveCampaign - Email marketing (you can also use the landing pages if you don’t have a website). I use this to send emails, automations, marketing campaigns, and to segment my customer list.
ThriveCart - Shopping cart and course platform. In my opinion, one of the best shopping carts available (I haven’t used them all so I can’t definitely say it’s THE best). I also use their new Learn platform to house my online courses.
ShowIt - Website builder and platform. I recently switched my website from Wordpress to ShowIt to keep things simple and easy (my Wordpress site is still active as I work on making the switch).
So there you have it. My simple tech stack. What does yours look like?
