Coffee & STEAM Podcast

We are excited to welcome Denny Chin, a PhD Candidate in Microbiology at Western University, soon to be doctor and science communicator!

Shalini and Gayathri sit down with Vrushali Guruji today to break down her work on researching the role of TOR (Target Of Rapamycin) signalling cascade in circadian rhythm, her experiences at the Ontario Science Centre, and more. We also hear about Shalini’s unfortunate incident with a bunsen burner.

One of the major concerns we've heard from our undergraduate population is - how do we seek research opportunities in a pandemic? Listen in as Gayathri and Shalini share their tips and tricks for navigating the research world in a pandemic, some new years resolutions, and how to approach networking in a virtual era.
